Wife and I were exploring downtown Statesville from out-of-town and happened upon conversation between the owner of "FTW" and another business "The Vanilla Bean," both seemed like good people so checked them out and was pleasantly surprised at the level of care and thought put into these businesses. FTW does something most gaming stores won't which is host video game consoles, which surprised me! The owner is down-to-earth and polite. Their game selections, tabletop accomodations, and location all deserve a consideration when visiting or traveling through if you're into gaming or have kids.

Eddie the owner has created a community where anyone can come and play with no judgement and 100% acceptance. Come and learn with new games or play against experienced players. I personally have learned several new games and dove into the world of Magic the gathering. FTW Gaming is the game shop to go to!!!

Super nice staff, great selection of tabletop games, cards, miniatures, etc, and a great atmosphere for hanging out and enjoying other nerds’ company. Eddie was very kind, giving helpful tips for painting miniatures to a newbie to the hobby. Will definitely be back again and again!

Great owner! Really friendly and helpful! I was on a business trip and stopped in after hours because I saw the lights were on. Instead of kicking me and out and saying they were closed, he invited me in and was very friendly. We discussed the board games that I enjoyed, and he was able to give me some great suggestions on new games (even though I didn't buy them there). Friendly and knowledgeable - Five stars for sure!
