I come here as often as I can for the weekly Smash Bros local, and I'm thrilled that a place like this that is minutes from my house exists. Everyone is super friendly, including the patrons, and I've never had a bad experience. I'm not currently into D&D like I've been in the past, but if I ever am again, I know for a fact that this place would be perfect. Cannot recommend it enough

At a time when margins are tight and some stores were looking to sell Final Fantasy x Magic the Gathering sets for prices well above MSRP, this local game store made product available to it's loyal player and drafting base at unprecedentedly low price. The space is and restrooms are clean. The store has a clubhouse feel (when you're in the family, you're at home). Grandma may notice the corser language and jesting. Though it genuinely seems to be between buddies and not with any acrimony. Of particular note, there is a strong limited community there along with casual commander play. Additionally, some underserved formats like Pauper have a home here.

FTW is a great family friendly card shop! My two boy love participating in there youth Pokemon league and have had a lot of fun learning how to play the game. Staff is very friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about multiple games. Highly recommended shop!!

long overdue review, but FTW is home to my friend group and is always the first place we go if we want to hang out in a safe and comfy environment. every single member of the staff team is welcoming, caring and makes every visit pleasant. i’m truly grateful we have a place like FTW in downtown statesville!

This place is a second home to my family and me. They are always accommodating when I bring my kids in, and always have some event going on that I’m interested in. The regulars are nice and decent folk, making it a blast to play games whenever I come in. I am honestly lucky I live close to such a great LGS. Great selection of board games, and a great library of games they let you play there. I can’t recommend this place enough.
